Thanks, tried to get it on You tubes but could not, so I found you!!! thanks, it is scary reality, soldiers of WWI were considered the lost generation in the 1920's, but they died for a purpose higher then themselves. Now we die with no purpose other then ourselves, very often true.
  • Thanks for posting this video. I really enjoyed it and the turn definitely caught me off guard.
  • They mentioned how they felt adults (parents) worked too much and how their jobs were way too important to them. They also mentioned that their generation and their parents' seem to care too much about money. THis is a small group so it might not represent adolescents very well. STill, I was surprised.
We'll see what happens when they see the other half.
  • I'm curious. What sorts of comments did the class make about the first half of the video? I'd also love to hear what their reaction is to the video as a whole.
  • Ms. M:

I showed it to one my classes last week. I only showed them the first half. It sparked some good conversations and interestingly, students were not at all defensive. I'll show them the second half later. I hope they have the same reaction you did.
  • I also posted this video a couple of weeks ago, but to be honest can't remember how I first ran into it. I love the creative twist at the end. It really produced a sigh of relief for me personally; I'm very hopeful that my generation and future generations will make changes.
